VCO — Analog Sawtooth Core Oscillator

Based on the classic Electronotes ENS-76 Option 1 circuit, this VCO is a straightforward analog oscillator built around a sawtooth core. It covers a frequency range of 32 Hz to 6.5 kHz, making it well-suited for both bass and mid-range voice work in a modular system.

Pitch control is handled by a coarse and a fine tune knob, giving you precise manual tuning across the full range. Three waveform outputs are available simultaneously: sawtooth, triangle, and square. A linear FM input with its own attenuator allows for frequency modulation with direct control over modulation depth.
